about Sal Flynn
Sal Flynn Bachelor Counselling & Human Change, Adv. Dip. Yoga Teaching, Dip. Hyp. Sal has been practising Yoga for nearly 30 years and has been teaching since 1995. Her work is inspired by her own healing journey as well as teachers from many traditions and in particular her mentor Donna Farhi. Sal's workshops focus on the practice of Mindfulness in movement, breathing and stillness as deep inquiry to develop refined awareness and personal transformation. Sal aims to support participants to explore their practice in new ways, to reconnect with the body's intuitive wisdom and their breath, creating stability and ease in both yoga practice and daily life. By balancing creative movement and breathing with moments of stillness and rest, she helps students move ever more deeply into their own moment to moment yoga journey establishing a more internally referenced and meditative approach to Yoga to create strength in body and mind. Sal is a trained counsellor in private practice, a Group Therapist and Educator at Jansen Newman Institute, Awareness Institute and regularly assists Donna Farhi in training yoga teachers. She was a senior lecturer at Nature Care College in The Advanced Diploma of Yoga teaching from 2002-2009 Qualifications include:
